2. How do I file a Freedoom Of Information Request?

The DeWitt County Freedom of Information Officer is DeWitt County State's Attorney.  The State's Attorney can be reached at 217-935-7810.  His office is located at the DeWitt County Building, 201 West Washington Street in Clinton, IL. 

3. How do find out if someone has an active warrant for their arrest from DeWitt County?

If you have a tip on the location of someone you beleive is wanted on warrant, contact your local law enforcement agency.  In DeWitt County, you may call CrimeStoppers at 217-935-3333.

You will not find active arrest warrants listed on the public access site www.judici.com due to regulations issued by the Illinois Administrative Office of the Courts. Once the warrant is served, the information will be posted on www.judici.com 

We want to see wanted persons apprehended. Accordingly, we will release specific information about a warrant in person, to the defendant.
