Illinois Sheriffs' Association Announces Scholarships
The Illinois Sheriffs' Association announces that it will be awarding over $58,000 in college scholarships throughout the State of Illinois to students wishing to pursue higher education during the 2024-2025 academic year. The scholarships are to be applied to tuition, books, and fees only. The student must be enrolled full-time at a certified institution of higher learning within the State of Illinois, full-time. Online learning is acceptable.
Sheriff Mike Walker, DeWitt County, will be awarding 1 scholarship in the amount of $500.

The DeWitt County Sheriff's Office is Accepting Applications for Corrections Officers.For more information and to complete manditory testing, please go to the website www.nationaltestingnetwork.com. After completing the NTN Law Enforcement Exam and Work Attitude Questionaire, Print the DeWitt County Sheriff's Office Application from here.
Applications must be submitted in person, through e-mail at pschwartz@dewittcountyil.gov or through the U.S. mail at the DeWitt County Sheriff's Office, 101 W. Washington St., Clinton, IL 61727.
